AS the battle for hearts and minds heats up for Wakefield Business Improvement District (BID) the chair of the BID called on businesses to fall in love with the city again.
Carmel Harrison PR constructed a very personal appeal directly to local businesses who will be eligible for a vote at the end of February, 2017.
It was important to make an emotional connection with the audience and help them understand the BID lead understands their business issues and has some practical solutions.
Wakefield also has a very strong and loyal business community, many of whom buy and advertise in the Wakefield Express it was important therefore to gain visibility there and give the Express an exclusive before releasing the news wider.
We also had to assist with new images of the chair who had shaved his beard and had his long hair cut since a previous encounter with a snapper.
