WAKEFIELD PR Agency, Carmel Harrison PR raises a glass as they join a list of local businesses in sponsoring this year’s Wakefield Festival of Beer.

Wakefield Festival of Beer will take place at Unity Hall and Business Space in Wakefield city centre from June 28-30.  Organised by Wakefield District Round Table, the event attracts hundreds of visitors to Wakefield and raises thousands for city-based charities Wakefield Hospice, Wakefield MS Society and Andy’s Man Club, which helps men fight depression.

Carmel Harrison PR has joined businesses such as, RedRow, Holroyd Miller, The Establishment and Blackdog Barbershop who are bringing along two barber chairs and offering visitors haircuts and beard grooming.

PR Consultant, Carmel Harrison said: “We specialise in the manufacturing sector and finding a unique and relevant way of entertaining guests can be challenging.  Wakefield Festival of Beer is both attractive and worthwhile combing our customers natural love for great tasting beer with a chance to support Wakefield Hospice, Wakefield MS Society and Andy’s Man Club.”

Organisers are now calling for more businesses to sponsor the festival, so they can meet their £15,000 target to help the three chosen charities.

Festival Director, Matt Wood said: “Wakefield Festival of Beer is a great chance for local businesses to help raise thousands for local charities and benefit from the huge exposure the popular event brings.  With more than 100 different beers on offer and even cider and prosecco up for grabs, the event is sure to attract visitors from far and wide and local businesses should take advantage of this.”
